What did Heidi Klum say about age based segmentation?
„THAT’S NOT COOL“ —— and Heidi is right
She said:
„That means I can’t buy this piece anymore? That’s not cool….You shouldn’t put a time limit on anything, and I feel like we should be able to wear anything at any age.”
That sounds like the famouse hashstag #sexyhasnoexpirationdate
Heidis age today, September 2022, is 49,5 yrs - imaging you will offer her 50plus cosmetics or a senior smart phone next year - you better take cover 👊🏻
If you use 50plus 60plus 65plus or a whatever random number „plus“ you support age based discrimination - unintentionally or not .
Working on othis website gets me in touch with a lot of people and everybody thinks like Klum….
„I don’t seen myself as a xplus person and I never did.“
I like to remind you on my second SXSW take away:
Longevity is part of diversity – Why it is wrong that ageism gets too little attention when it comes to diversity and how you can do better.
It’s a privilege to work with Susan Golden Frank Piller Prof. Dr. Anna Schneider Bradley Schurman and so much more wonderful people on #STAGE not #AGE.
